Chipotle is opening a Lenox Square Mall location.
Simon Property Group, the Buckhead mall’s owner, submitted a building permit application early September to build out the new Chipotle restaurant at Lenox.
An estimated $300,000 will be spent on constructing the new Chipotle space.
Chipotle is one of several new restaurants opening inside the Buckhead mall’s new food court and outdoor patio (now called Lenox Fashion Café), according to Lenox’s website.
Lenox’s new food court is one component of the mall’s multi-phase renovation project, which includes a facelift to its Peachtree Road facade, a new mall entrance, landscape/hardscape improvements, a roundabout and atrium.
In the coming months, Lenox Square management plans to announce as many as 15 to 20 new retailers joining the mall throughout the renovation process, according to a press release.
