Microsoft, Forever 21 and Henri Bendel, are the latest additions to the mall located at 3393 Peachtree Road, all slated to open by the end of 2011.

Microsoft — for all of those virus-loving PC fans — will open at Lenox at 10 a.m. Friday, May 27, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

The store will have areas to try out software on various devices and a total of 50 employees to help customers with questions, the report notes.

Forever 21 will open a 27,000-square-foot store, its largest in Georgia, near Urban Outfitters in Lenox Square in winter 2011. The fashion retailer filed a permit with the city of Atlanta mid May.

Henri Bendel — occupying some of the now relocated Victoria’s Secret space to the right of PINK — will open their first Atlanta location at the Buckhead Mall.

In other Lenox Mall roundup news, Puma has closed to be replaced by Adidas which will join the recently relocated Armani Exchange which made the move from Phipps earlier this year.

Urban Outfitters’ Free People Boutique is replacing the now shuttered Ph8 and Prada is also slated to open at Lenox.

So, what tenant is Lenox missing or who do you think will be next to swing over from Phipps? Tell us in the comments!

  1. You failed to mention the Free People store coming soon. And you didn’t even mention any of the luxury wing tenants. With Godiva relocated, Prada will be opening soon as will the new Ferragamo. And now that PURE moved upstairs, a new larger store will be coming soon that will occupy the old Blue Corset and PURE spaces. Also wondering what the Lindt space will turn into.

  2. “for all of those virus-loving PC fans” – Boooo. PC’s operate on Linux too. PC is so much better than Apple. LOL. Bless your hart.

  3. Hmm I’m still curious to find out where Crate and Barrel and Restoration Hardware will be moving to-any ideas?

  4. Jonat, it’s already been published that Restoration Hardware is moving to Around Lenox. Crate and Barrel is staying put for now. Lenox Square rocks on.!

  5. I Heard A rumor that Italian menswear label Canali is looking at Phipps for a future location. Also I dont understand how Atlanta Doesn’t have a Thomas Pink yet?! Can’t wait to see what kind of tenants Buckhead Atlanta will bring to the market?

  6. Well Phipps is adding L.K. Bennett and Bottega Veneta… so it’s not doing THAT bad.

I’m also surprised Lucky Brand Jeans hasn’t moved from Phipps to Lenox. Lenox seems like it would be a better fit for Lucky Brand. If Crate & Barrel does move to a free standing location that would be a great spot for a huge H&M (or Top Shop) 🙂

  7. @Sarah I’m surprised that Phipps still exists. You could plot a terrorist coup in there and nobody would find out it’s so empty.

  8. Well Phipps isn’t the type of mall people go to hang out in like Lenox. People with money to spend go there to buy things. These high end stores don’t have to sell as much as lower priced stores because their merchandise is much more expensive. Your observations don’t mean a thing – sorry. If they were true new stores like Bottega Veneta wouldn’t bother opening in Phipps. The people that make decisions to open stores use statistical data, not random observations from people who barely frequent the mall.

  9. Actually Jason L. and Jonat, I believe Crate & Barrel is moving to Around Lenox next spring and Restoration Hardware, already gone from the mall, is still looking.

  10. I haven’t been in Phipps in over a year but last time I was there, I was surprised at the amount of deferred maintenance. For a mall that is suppose to be very high end, there was a lot of paint peeling off of fixtures and stains on carpeting. Also some of the trash cans looked like they needed a good scrubbing on the outside.

Had it been Lenox, I wouldn’t have noticed but for Phipps, it was odd to see.

  11. @Sarah: I totally agree about an H&M flagship store, if not at Lenox then at least at Perimeter. Also, it would be AMAZING if topshop/topman opened in Atlanta!

  12. Ohhhh how I would love a Top Shop. I used to frequent the SoHo one quite often. It would be a great fit for Lenox customers.

  13. @sarah well said chica… statics play a big role in what stores are going to open up in what area… Most people don’t get that at all. they don’t get that it doesn’t have anything to do with how big a space is smh.. anyway I also think that the people that are coming into these malls need to up their customer service skills…”PEOPLE ARE NOT GOING TO CONTINUE TO SUPPORT OR BUY FROM A PLACE OR BUSINESS WHERE THEY DON’T FEEL COMFORTABLE” A lot of places in lenox from the kiosks to the stores have a horrible customer service inability….. and that will get you zero sales….. good luck to the new tenants…

  14. Please ask H&M to go into the Crate&Barrel space. It is a two level space, with outside and storefront windows, right at the mall entrance, and perfect for H&M’s criteria…great revenue…
