Situated on the Georgia Tech campus, at 315 Ferst Drive, Nectar will celebrate its grand opening April 19, a company spokesperson Tuesday in an email told What Now Atlanta.

At the grand opening, expect giveaways from Nectar, tastings from Batdorf & Bronson Coffee, and more.

Nectar serves up smoothies, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free hot pressed sandwiches, soups and salads, partnering with local coffee roaster Batdorf and Bronson, H&F Bakery, and Pure Kneads.

Some of the highlights on the menu are the made-from-scratch vegan Carrot & Coconut Soup, Chicken with Avocado Hot Pressed Sandwich, and the Vegetarian Reuben Sandwich (with the option to get all sandwiches on local gluten free bread.)

Founded in 2008 by Naruna Rangel and Gaurav Malhotra with a brick-and-mortar in Decatur, Nectar now has locations in Piedmont Park, Georgia Tech, and two food trucks.

Nectar at Georgia Tech will be open from Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm. The Nectar food truck will also be on campus two times a week.
