Retailer Expanding And All It’ll Take Is One Purchase To Cover Expansion Expenses

Louis Vuitton at Lenox Square Mall in Buckhead is renovating and expanding their retail presence.

Space that was most recently Mark Shale, located in the main corridor of Lenox Mall near guest services, will act as a temporary location for the luxury retailer while the new store undergoes renovations, according to sources at Louis Vuitton.

With the addition of a ready-to-wear clothing line for both men and women as well as an expanded shoe and accessory line, Louis Vuitton will expand into the back half of the Mark Shale space and also some exterior hallway space.

Construction is underway and is expected to be completed by late fall 2010.

Yesterday, Louis Vuitton staff could be seen packing merchandise into white sacs and loading them onto carts and literally wheeling these goods to the temporary Mark Shale space. Lets just say security and Louis Vuitton staff seemed nervous as we snapped photography.

In other news, Stuart Weitzman, located two stores down from Louis Vuitton will also undergo renovations.

Closed for a short eight day period, from August 2 through August 10, considering the space is both small and bland, we don’t see much that they can do to compete with their ultra-modern and lower performing Perimeter location.

  1. This is great, and indicative of LV’s success in Atlanta. Hopefully we will see another LV store in the metro in the next 5 years.

An Emporio Armani or Armani Jeans Couture would work nicely in the former CK space. A Dior or Chanel would look great in what is left of the Mark Shale space after the LV renovation.
