The pizza joint will debut late-2017 in the luxury Buckhead mall.
Miami, Florida-based The Genuine Hospitality Group, has plans to bring its Harry’s Pizzeria concept to Atlanta, the first in Georgia.
The pizza joint will open in Phipps Plaza, Jackie Sayet, brand director for The Genuine, in an email Monday told What Now Atlanta.
Harry’s Pizzeria Buckhead, the fifth location for the concept, will open at the end of 2017 in a 2,879-square-foot space in “Phipps Plaza’s Peachtree Road entrance, which was recently revamped as part of the center’s renovation project.”
Chef Michael Schwartz, a James Beard winner, is behind The Genuine and Harry’s Pizzeria.
The Genuine’s concepts include Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink, Michael’s Genuine Pub, Ella, Filia, and Michael Schwartz Events, according to the company’s website.
Harry’s Pizzeria is one of several new restaurants planned for Phipps Plaza opening this year, early 2018.
The Fifth Group is building an Ecco from the ground-up, the company’s third location of the Mediterranean concept, and The Public Kitchen and Bar could open this fall on the property.
