The retailer of freshly pressed organic juices Tuesday filed plans with City of Atlanta for a new location in White Provisions District (WSPD), at 1170 Howell Mill Road.

“We’re one of the only juice operations that’s using all organic fruits and vegetables,” Karen Spencer Welanetz, CEO and co-owner, told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in a telephone interview Wednesday.

“Our juice offerings are raw, organic, gluten and dairy free, and served up in a great-looking glass bottle.”

Dtox will occupy space that is currently used as offices, according to the application. An estimated $30,000 will be spent converting the West Midtown location into a retail storefront for the juice bar.

The 100-square-foot space, next door to Calypso St. Barth, will feature a “wraparound bar” on the exterior of the shop equipped with phone chargers, according to Welanetz.

The WSPD Dtox is slated to open in March as the juice bar’s fourth location. Welanetz plans on opening ten more metro-Atlanta stores within the next three years followed by branching out into other states.

[Editor’s note: this article was updated Wednesday night after WNA reached Welanetz for comment.]
