Mary S. Moore, founder and CEO of The Cook’s Warehouse, announced the grand opening Wednesday in a press release.

“I truly appreciate the continued support from our customers in this market and am thrilled to have found an exceptional new location,” Moore said.

“The ease of parking, accessibility, and co-tenancy in this center are much better for us and our customers.”

The Cook’s Warehouse Peachtree Station, which opens the same day as the center’s Whole Foods Market, is a transplant of the shuttered Brookhaven store.

At 4,500 square feet, the new store is 50 percent larger than the former location in Brookhaven, allowing for bigger classes and more products.

The new store will boast a teaching kitchen with products from Wellborn, Neolith, Subzero and Wolf.

The Cook’s Warehouse will host official grand opening festivities August 24 through August 27.

The kickoff will be a fundraiser dinner the night of August 24 led by Wüsthof Executive Chef Mike McGaraghty. The 4-course dinner will include wine pairings and all proceeds will benefit Culinary Futures, a scholarship fund of the Atlanta Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier.

The Grand Opening party is scheduled for Friday, August 25 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

This event, free to attend, is co-hosted with longtime vendor partners Wüsthof and Le Creuset with special guest Ford Fry.
