Chef Betsy Pitts could reopen Urban pL8, the Westside eatery that shuttered in August 2014 after lease disagreements.
A message to Urban pL8’s Facebook page Thursday suggests a lease has been secured for the paleo-centric restaurant’s rebirth.
“…and we said we would not get back into the restaurant business,” according to the post. “More to come.”
After closing Urban pL8’s doors, at 1082 Huff Rd NW, Pitts turned her focus to Paleo 2 Go, a meal delivery service preparing and packaging over 3000 portions of food each week.
Pitts will continue operating Paleo 2 Go, according to the Facebook post.
Urban pL8 would reopen this summer, but the location has not been confirmed. Pitts was not immediately available for comment.
