With Four Locations, They’ll Never Be Too Pharr From Reach
Café at Pharr will be expanding out of their current and original space on Pharr Road and moving to 3145 Peachtree Road.
Taking corner space in the shopping center that houses More Space Place, the relocation is currently in progress and the opening is slated for this fall.
Café at Pharr will also open a location at Brookhaven in the Sembler development late fall, making a total of four stores.
Johnny Liu, owner of Café at Pharr, says that Café at Pharr is one of the few business expanding in a recovering economy (he clearly reads wna.)
Said Liu when explaining why they’re relocating from Pharr Road,“the parking is tough and we really felt we would better serve our customers if we expanded slightly and got more parking spaces.”
Originally, Café at Pharr opened as a bakery offering cakes and pastries in 1992. They reintroduced the café’s menu by phasing out the pastries and adding healthy sandwiches and salads.
The most notable menu item is the cafe’s well-known & award-winning chicken salad. The chicken salad is offered in three versions–celery chicken salad, walnut chicken salad and curry chicken salad–all served as either a sandwich on fresh baked bread or atop a fresh green salad with a simple ginger dressing that is a Liu family secret.
