Bitchin’ Bagels
Alpharetta will soon have two options for authentic hand-rolled, kettle-boiled, New York style bagels.
It’s Atlanta, so it’s taken a little longer than a New York minute, but BB’s Bagels and Diner is set to open their newest location any day now.
Taking space at 10995 State Bridge Road, sources say that BB’s had their soft opening yesterday, Oct.14, but are still remodeling and cleaning up in anticipation for opening.
BB’s Bagels opened their first location in Alpharetta at 770 McFarland Parkway in 2007 and serves coffees, sandwiches, salads, soups and of course, bagels with a wide variety of choice of cream cheeses.
Known for their water boiled bagels, BB’s claims that steaming which is easier and cheaper, simply can’t compare to “bathing the raw bagels in a boiling kettle of water before baking.”
This contributes to the shiny, golden, chewy crust that New York Bagels are famous for, according to Co-owners and husband and wife team, Eddie and Anna Siino.
