Baraonda Expanding Into Enoteca Space, Launching Catering And Opening New Concept, Baroni

Baroni, an Italian style restaurant from the owners of Baraonda and Publik, will be opening in Buckhead later this year.

Taking space that most recently belonged to Wolf Gang Puck Express, Baroni will operate as an Italian neighborhood style restaurant emulating Baraonda. However, the Baroni concept is so new that only the space has been finalized.

Baraonda, located on Peachtree Street across from Hotel Indigo and just blocks from the fabulous Fox Theatre, is expanding into the adjacent space, Enoteca, a sister concept that wasn’t nearly as successful.

Adding additional seating to accommodate the large crowds from the shows at the Fox Theatre, the newest addition will no longer be referred to as Enoteca but rather Baraonda’s Wine Room.

Set for an Easter Sunday opening, April 4, Baraonda’s Wine Room will nearly double the amount of available seating. Double doors will be added on the right in the lobby to merry the space.

If a new restaurant concept and expansion to the current location wasn’t enough, Baraonda will also start a catering service launching this summer!

Baraonda serves wood-fired brick pizzas, salads, pastas and other Italian specialties such as veal, risotto, lamb as well as daily fresh fish specials. Their wine list offers a selection of nearly 125 wines.

For the area, our recommendation for Italian style cuisine is Ecco. Baraonda might be doing well but the food isn’t on par with other options.

What are your thoughts on Baraonda and their plans for Baroni, their newest restaurant concept? Tell us what you think, Atlanta!

  1. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. IF YOU ARE A BUSINESS AROUND BARONI DO NOT GO THERE FOR LUNCH DINNER, ANYTHING! WE WAITED OVER AN HOUR. WE HAD A SERVER WHO JUST KEPT LYING AND LYING ABOUT OUR FOOD COMING OUT. JUST BE HONEST. 70% OF CUSTOMERS HAVE DONE YOUR PATHETIC JOB AT LEAST ONCE. THE OWNERS WERE TOO SCARED TO EVEN COME TO OUR TABLE. THEY OBVIOUSLY DON’T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. WE ACTUALLY GOT UP AND WALKED OUT AND MANAGEMENT, OWNERS – NO ONE EVEN ASKED US WHY OR OFFERED TO HELP. THE HOSTESS WAS LIKE – HAVE A NICE DAY. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. THAT PLACE WON’T MAKE IT.
SPEND YOUR (TWO HOUR) LUNCH SOMEWHERE ELSE, WITH WAY BETTER FOOD AND SERVICE.
