Taquería to open at Briarcliff La Vista Shopping Center in Italian restaurant’s place.

Red Pepper Taquería, a taco joint serving over 100 types of Tequila, is slated to open Jan. 2, Thrillist Atlanta first reported.

The taquería, at 2149 Briarcliff Road, will open at the Briarcliff La Vista Shopping Center, replacing the now shuttered Artuzzi’s Italian Kitchen.

Originally, the owners of Artuzzi’s announced they would open a different Italian concept in its place.

Red Pepper Taquería will feature “draft table taps,” where guests can dine and pour their own beers, according to a press release.

Red Pepper will serve the usual suspects found at a taquería: quesadillas, enchiladas. tacos and other entrees, made from “organic ingredients, fresh seafood and local beef.”
