Deli franchise to open Downtown location.

America Deli is opening a new location Downtown.

The American-style quick serve restaurant is opening on Metropolitan Parkway in the same shopping center as Kroger.

American Deli filed a permit with City of Atlanta last week to covert the space (formerly a bank) to the restaurant. The estimated cost of construction is $30,000.00, according to the permit.

The American Deli franchise has more than 60 locations in the southeast and was founded in 1989.

American Deli was not immediately available for comment.

‘Downtown’, Caleb? That seems like a bigtime misnomer. How can something beyond the 75/85 split even be considered ‘downtown’?

If you love frozen french fries that come out of a bag, then by all means, stop on by. American Deli does not have good food.
