Men’s apparel retailer to open steps away from similar, shuttered concept.

Brooks Brothers closing its Peachtree Center location Downtown hasn’t deterred another men’s apparel retailer from opening down the street.

Jos. A. Bank Clothiers will open its newest location on Peachtree Street, according to a building permit filed with City of Atlanta.

The retailer posted several job openings for its Downtown location late last month.

Jos. A. Bank was not immediately available for comment.

Stupid location (should’ve tried for midtown) but who cares? Their clothes are for uptight white middle aged guys.

Their clothes are for people with no style or taste…regardless of age or color

Where exactly is this going? Where the Pig Sty was suppose to be?

I work right next door to this in the 191 Peachtree Tower and I know that it will cater to the business crowd in the downtown area. But I know that I won’t be shopping here. I just wish that something like a Chipotle would open up in the Pig Sty location or next to it to cater to the area.
